Healing Hearts, Transforming Lives: South Shore Sober Living
At South Shore Sober Living, we offer a compassionate, structured, and recovery-focused community dedicated to supporting men and women in their journey toward lasting sobriety. Our peer-supported sober living environments provide the crucial bridge between intensive addiction treatment and independent living, facilitating transformative recovery experiences.
We are more than just a place to stay - we are a community dedicated to recovery. Grounded in the Twelve Steps and the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous, we guide our residents through a structured program that fosters accountability, personal growth, and spiritual awakening.
Our homes provide the structure needed to maintain sobriety while allowing the freedom to rebuild your life - whether through work, school, or other commitments. We walk this path together, supporting each other through challenges and celebrating every milestone along the way.
South Shore Sober Living operates two separate, gender-specific residences, ensuring a supportive and focused environment for everyone. We operate two distinct sober living residences, High Level Housing for men, and The Lighthouse, for women, under one unified mission.
Designed specifically for men seeking recovery, High Level Housing offers a structured, supportive environment emphasizing accountability, community, and personal growth.
A safe and nurturing environment exclusively for women, The Lighthouse fosters community, empowerment, and holistic healing through peer support and structured living.
Sober living homes provide essential support for individuals transitioning from acute treatment and intensive care to independent, substance-free lifestyles. After detox or inpatient treatment, many individuals face limited safe housing options. Sober homes fill this critical gap, offering structured environments that support ongoing recovery through accountability, routine, and community support.
Our sober living residences assist residents in gradually regaining independence, stability, and the necessary life skills to sustain long-term sobriety.
At South Shore Sober Living, we understand the importance of structured transitional living as part of the recovery continuum. The typical recovery path includes:
Short-term medical detoxification (typically 3-5 days depending on severity of addiction and substances used).
Stabilizing physically and mentally (typically 12-13 days).
Continued structured care (30 days to 6 months, typically includes treatment such as PHP, IOP, or OP).
Peer-supported transitional living focused on independent living skills.
Sustained sobriety and independent living.
